Banking meets blockchain finally. This was a passion project born from a simple thought: what if your bank and your crypto wallet actually got along?
I set out to design a fintech experience that bridges the old world of traditional banking with the fast-moving universe of crypto all in one sleek, secure platform. No silos, no confusion just a seamless financial experience for users who live in both worlds.

Your financial command center...

where It Began
Overview
One app. Two worlds. Total control
Imagine if your bank and your crypto wallet could finally sit at the same table and actually get along. AmoredTrust was built on that idea. It’s not just a finance app; it’s a peace treaty between two worlds that rarely speak the same language. Whether you're buying coffee with your debit card or swapping ETH for SOL, AmoredTrust lets you do it all from one beautifully secure place. No clunky transitions, no second-guessing just smooth, intelligent money management that feels like it should’ve existed all along. With safety as its backbone and simplicity as its guide, this app turns complex finance into something quiet, elegant, and personal. Like a well-written book you return to often not because you have to, but because it just makes sense.
Problem
In today’s fragmented financial landscape, users are forced to toggle between multiple apps to manage their traditional bank accounts and cryptocurrency assets. This disjointed experience creates confusion, increases security risks, and adds unnecessary friction to everyday financial decisions.
While traditional banks offer stability and familiarity, they lack the flexibility and innovation of crypto platforms. On the other hand, crypto apps often overwhelm users with volatility and steep learning curves, alienating those new to the space.
Users crave a unified, secure, and intuitive solution one that speaks both the language of legacy finance and the promise of decentralized futures.
Recognizing this gap, I saw a massive opportunity o help users create a place where they can check balances, pay bills, trade tokens, and feel in control all without switching apps, or compromising trust.
How Might we
How might we design a financial experience that feels both powerful and personal, whether a user is paying a bill or swapping crypto?
How might we bridge the gap between legacy finance and digital assets without overwhelming the user?
How might we make security feel seamless, not stressful?
How might we create a space where users don’t have to choose between control and simplicity?
Reading the Room
Before designing anything, I tuned in to market noise, user habits, and financial fears whispered between lines of online reviews and subreddit threads. The message was clear: People are tired. Tired of juggling apps, of translating jargon, of choosing between security and innovation. Some users wanted a smoother way to dip their toes into crypto without drowning in volatility. Others wanted their bank to evolve without losing its sense of structure and trust. Most just wanted one app that could understand both sides of their financial lives without judgment, without chaos.
Trust is everything: users won’t trade security for convenience, especially when it comes to crypto.
Financial management feels fragmented: people want control over all their money, in one place.
The learning curve is steep: even savvy users find crypto platforms too complex or overwhelming.
Peace of mind matters: users want tools that make them feel calm, not confused.

Before building anything beautiful, I built it rough. This stage was about asking: How should this app feel to use? Not just what it should do.

Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency and worldwide payment system. It’s transactions are recorded on a public ledger called the blockchain, which ensures transparency and immutability. The value of Bitcoin is highly volatile and is determined by supply and demand in the market, making it a popular choice for investment and speculation.

Key metrics
Design means little if it doesn’t move the needle. These are the core metrics I’d track to measure how well AmoredTrust performs for both users and business:
Because the real success of AmoredTrust isn’t just adoption. It’s peace of mind. The kind that keeps users coming back, not just to check their balance, but to feel balanced.
Conversion Rate: % of users who successfully link both bank and crypto wallets.
Daily Active Users (DAU): To monitor consistent utility
Feature Usage: How often users swap, transfer, or check balances
Time-to-Action: How long it takes users to complete core tasks (swap, transfer)
User Trust Index (Qualitative): Based on in-app surveys — “Do you feel secure using this app?”
Churn Rate: Are people returning after week 1, month 1?

I learned that building for finance isn’t just about functionality, it’s about reassurance. Design is how you earn a user’s confidence. Here is what stood out
Simplicity wins over flash. Users prefer flows that feel familiar, even when interacting with something as complex as crypto.
Security isn’t just technical. It’s emotional. Design can either create trust or uncertainty. The choice of words, visuals, and timing makes a world of difference.
Unification is more than merging data. It’s about creating mental ease a sense that “everything is in one place, and I understand it.”
Lesson Learned
Designing AmoredTrust taught me that trust is more than a feature. It’s a feeling. When users are dealing with their money, especially across traditional and emerging systems, every button, every message, every motion must reduce anxiety and increase clarity.
Next Chapter of this story?
While this was a conceptual project, the opportunities it revealed are real. If this app were to move toward development, here’s what I’d pursue next:
AmoredTrust started as a simple idea a place where all your money makes sense. But its real potential? Becoming a companion for the modern financial life safe, smart, and always on your side.
User Testing with both crypto newbies and seasoned users to refine flows and messaging
Accessibility Audits to ensure financial literacy doesn’t become a barrier
Gamified Financial Learning, e.g. micro-tips or challenges for crypto literacy
Push Notification Strategy that encourages action without triggering fear (e.g., smart reminders, price alerts)
Deeper Wallet Integrations to support more networks and banking APIs
